First tournament of the year 2018
Congrats to all my students that competed yesterday at the Sunshine Coast Karate Challenge! You did all very well and made me very proud.
Well done Daria, Dustin, Delara, Diba, Damine, Emily, Michael, Jonathan and Tracy!
It was the first tournament for Emily, Michael, Jonathan and Tracy, who just started karate and are still white belts and they did a fantastic job against all the colour belts.Emily took out third place in kata and won the bronze medal. Michael and Tracy placed fourth and Jonathan competed very well too.
Well done to Daria, Dustin, Delara and Diba for winning gold, silver and bronze medals in kata and kumite and to Damine for a great performance in kata and for winning several fights in kumite.
A big thank you goes to Bryan and Nauria for organising again a great and memorable tournament! It was a pleasure and a great experience especially for my new students.
