Our local Member of Parliament, Tony Perrett MP, and Gympie Mayor Mick Curran attended the opening ceremony of the seminar. We thank them for their ongoing support and for their inspiring contributions to the event.

During the ceremony, Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai presented honorary black belt ranks to both dignitaries in recognition of their support for the community and karate development.

We also extend our appreciation to the Hon. Yvette D'Ath MP, Attorney-General and Minister for Justice at the time, who was presented with an Honorary 7th Dan black belt by Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai.
