Membership Responsibilities
By participating in IKD-Australia training and activities, members acknowledge and accept dojo rules, safety requirements and membership responsibilities.
Members are expected to:
- Follow instructor directions
- Train respectfully and safely
- Maintain current membership requirements
- Respect dojo etiquette and behaviour standards
- Support a positive training environment
IKD-Australia Founding Agreement (2019)
This agreement documents the establishment and development framework of International Karate Daigaku Australia (IKD-Australia) between Shuseki Shihan Frank Woon-A-Tai and Shihan Hamid Mostofizadeh.
The agreement reflects the principles, responsibilities and organisational standards supporting the growth of IKD-Australia.
Introduction
This agreement formalised the establishment of International Karate Daigaku Australia (IKD-Australia) as the official Australian representative of International Karate Daigaku (IKD) in 2019.
Subject of Agreement
- Development and promotion of IKD Karate-do in Australia
- Official representation of IKD within Australia
- Permission to use IKD name, crest and symbols
- Protection of IKD identity and organisational standards
Obligations
Both parties agreed to support each other through the dissemination of information within international and local sporting organisations and media.
Responsibilities
The agreement outlines responsibilities regarding organisational standing, use of IKD name and symbols, and the protection of IKD organisational identity and standards.
