IKD-Australia offers transparent and family-friendly membership options to support all students from beginners to advanced levels.

IKD-Australia Gympie Dojo is an official member of International Karate Daigaku. Members receive access to technical seminars, grading recognition, and international standards.

• 10th Kyu – 4th Kyu: $50

• 3rd Kyu – 1st Kyu: $80

• 1st Dan: $100 + IKD fee

Students must complete national registration via Karate Australia:

Policies

Binding Agreement

By registering for monthly or term training, members acknowledge this as a binding training agreement.

PlayOn & Activate! Queensland

IKD Australia is an approved provider for the Play On! Sport Voucher Program and the Activate! Queensland initiative.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Three (3) months' written notice is required to cancel membership.
  2. A cancellation fee of up to $250 may apply where the required notice is not provided.
  3. Registration and membership fees are non-refundable.
  4. All students must maintain a current IKD Australia membership while training.

IKD Property

To help keep karate affordable for new students, certain equipment supplied by IKD Australia remains the property of the club and is provided on loan during a member's training.

Upon resignation or termination of membership:

  • IKD Australia karate uniforms (Gi) supplied by the club must be returned in a clean and serviceable condition.
  • Official IKD Australia club badges must also be returned.
  • IKD Australia Passbooks remain the property of the member and do not need to be returned.

If club property is not returned within 30 days after membership has ended, the following replacement charges may apply:

  • Karate Uniform (Gi): $60
  • IKD Australia Club Badges: $30

Communication Policy

Members are expected to respond to official IKD Australia correspondence relating to:

  • Membership and registration
  • Annual fees and training fees
  • Gradings
  • Club property
  • Club administration
  • Events and official notices

If no response is received after reasonable reminders, IKD Australia may proceed with the appropriate administrative action, including issuing invoices, updating membership records, or cancelling membership where necessary.
