QKA State Titles 16th-17th March 2019
Dustin, Delara, Diba and Jethro represented IKD Australia at the QKA Queensland State Championships in Brisbane on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th of March 2019.
They had a great karate experience and came home with a swag of medals and good results. Great effort!
This event was compulsory for students who wish to be selected for the Queensland Karate State Team. Well done to all of them for your great effort!
The results:
Dustin came first in Kumite, snatched the gold medal and came home as a State champion. Well done, Dustin!
Jethro, well done to your silver medal in kumite (Kyu Division) and gold medal in kumite (Black Belt Division), your effort and persistence has paid off. Keep training hard! What an amazing effort!
Delara came third in Kumite this year. Good effort!
Diba won two silver medals in two Kumite divisions and a bronze medal in Kata. Solid effort as always!
Well done, David and Daria, for refereeing all day strongly and fairly and for sitting your referee exams.
