Today, we had our annual seminar and black belt grading. We had hoped to have Shihan Woon-A-Tai here, but unfortunately due to covid and travel restrictions, this wasn’t possible.
We had also planned to have Sensei Alfonso Jimenez as our guest instructor at our Seminar and grading, but due to unforseen circumstances we were unable to see him too. We wish Sensei Alfonso a well-rested recovery and hope to have him train with us again soon.
The grading went well! Well done to all colour-belts that graded and passed today!
A special congratulations to Terry, Jason and Shania for achieving your Shodan, Jethro, Diba and Damine for achieving your Nidan, and Johanna and Delara for achieving your Sandan rankings.
It was also good for Jason and Shania to learn the basics of panel grading for Kyu grades. Thank you Olivia for helping out and demonstrating so that Jason and Shania could learn.
