Today 4th of September,we finished our last session with Carinity Education – Glendyne. It was a great eight weeks of teaching karate and basic self defence to the students. Some of the things the students learnt about included: – The meaning of karate and importance of goal setting – How to avoid violence and bullying – Improve fitness while learning to protect – The basic blocks and attacks in karate – Striking and moving simultaneously – Life skills: courage, confidence, resilience, discipline At the end of today’s session, the students received a certificate to show their hard work and dedication. A big thank you to Deb Brown who presented the certificates on behalf of Tony Perrett MP.
