It was a pleasure to start our seminar on Saturday 19th of November with Shuseki Shihan Woon A Tai, following a very successful grading on Friday. As always it was an honour to have our special guests Sensei Alfonso Jimenez from Brisbane and Sensei Bryan Dukas from Noosa, and their students. A special congratulations to Sensei Alfonso for grading to his 8th Dan and a special thank you to Gympie Mayor Glen Hartwig and St Patrick’s College Principal Mark Newton for their support with organising this seminar.
Shuseki Shihan Woon-A-Tai made several presentations, including honorary black belt gradings to Gympie Mayor Glen Hartwig and St Patrick’s College principal Mark Newton, a Medal of Service to Dr Johanna Mostofizadeh, a Hall of Fame Medal for Sensei Hamid Mostofizadeh and a promotion to 8th Degree Black Belt for Alfonso Jimenez.
