Day 1 of the Queensland Karate State Titles is done and dusted with solid results for our young competitors.
It hailed medals:
Diba silver medal in kumite
Damine gold medal in team Kata
Zac bronze medal in kumite and gold medal in team Kata
Dana gold medal in Kata, gold medal in kumite and gold medal in team Kata
Damine and Zac just missed a podium result in Kata and place 4th.
Daria and Dustin refereed all day and showed great compassion and good judgement.
So well done team!

What an amazing finish to a great weekend!

Well done on a really good performance Terry!
Sean put up a great fight and won silver in his division.
Delara became a State Champion in all of her three divisions!
Dustin became State Champion for the U21 Kata and won silver in senior kata and U21 Kumite.
A great effort from all of you, I’m proud to see how far you’ve come! Keep it up!
I can’t wait for the Nationals.
