What an incredible day and a proud achievement for IKD Australia at the Karate Queensland State Championship 2026 held at the Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
With a small but dedicated team of six athletes and one official, IKD Australia delivered outstanding results across Kata and Kumite divisions. Our students’ hard work, consistent training, focus, and dedication truly paid off.
Competing at state-level championships provides valuable experience and helps students develop confidence, discipline, and resilience. We are extremely proud of all competitors for their effort, determination, and commitment to training.
Their performance reflects the values of traditional Shotokan karate and the high standards maintained within IKD Australia. Thank you to the organisers, officials, families, and supporters who contributed to making this event a successful and memorable experience.
