Karate Australia has now officially announced the Australian Team selected to compete at the WKF World Cadet, Junior & U21 Karate Championships 2026.
IKD Australia is extremely proud to announce that Delara has been officially selected to represent Australia in the U21 Female Kumite (-61 kg) division at the World Championships, to be held from 14–18 October 2026 in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
This official selection follows months of outstanding performances throughout the 2026 season, including Delara’s success at both the Australian Open Karate Championships and the 52nd Karate Australia National Championships.
As part of Australia’s preparation for the World Championships, Delara will also travel with the Australian National Team to compete at the 16th Thailand Open Karate Championships, to be held from 14–16 August 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Representing Australia at a WKF World Championship is one of the highest honours any Australian karate athlete can achieve. It reflects years of dedication, discipline, perseverance and continuous improvement.
