About Shihan Hamid
Shihan Hamid Mostofizadeh is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Instructor of the International Karate Daigaku Association Australia (IKD-Australia). With decades of experience in traditional Shotokan Karate, he has dedicated his life to teaching technical excellence, discipline, respect, and personal development.
Throughout his career, he has guided students from beginner level through to black belt and instructor level, helping develop athletes, instructors, and community leaders across Australia.

During this period, he successfully organised and conducted seven major technical seminars with Shuseki Shihan Kagawa, contributing significantly to the development and structure of traditional karate in Australia.
His early leadership in JKS Australia laid the foundation for the later establishment and growth of International Karate Daigaku Association Australia (IKD-Australia), continuing his lifelong commitment to authentic Shotokan Karate education and development.
