Huge Congratulations to the IKD Karate Australia Members who competed at the 51st Karate Australia National Championships in Adelaide last weekend from 11-13th July!
IKD Australia represented Queensland at the 51th National Karate Championships in South Australia, bringing home 2 GOLD and 2 SILVER Medals.
Dana, Damine, Zac and Terry had a great experience with their respective teams, while Diba finished second in her Kumite division, and gained selection into the Junior Girls Kumite Team, who also won the gold medal.
Delara proved to once again reclaim her National Champion status and gained selection into the Senior Girls Kumite Team, who also won the silver medal.
Daria, Dustin and David refereed at this year’s competition, and Shihan Hamid was once again a Queensland State coach.
Well done to all IKD members. Your consistent hard work, dedication, and representation of the Gympie sporting community is nothing short of inspiring.
