Delara to Represent IKD Australia at the 16th Thailand Open Karate Championship

IKD Australia is proud to wish Delara every success as she travels to Bangkok, Thailand, to compete at the 16th Thailand Open Karate Championship 2026.

The championship will be held from 14–16 August 2026 at Chakrabandhu Pensiri Hall, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.

This major international karate event brings together athletes from across the region and provides an important opportunity for competitors to test themselves against strong international opposition.

For Delara, this is another important step in her continuing karate journey. Representing IKD Australia on an international stage is the result of many years of training, dedication, discipline and commitment.

Her participation also reflects the values we seek to develop through traditional Shotokan Karate — discipline, confidence, resilience, respect and the courage to challenge ourselves.

We are especially proud to see one of our young athletes continuing to pursue opportunities at this level while representing IKD Australia, Gympie and Queensland.
